I have been creating with Heart for as long as I can remember.

Raised on Bunurong Country in Naarm Melbourne, I was gifted a sweet childhood where I was encouraged to respect, learn from and create with all around me. We travelled often, exploring the wild and vast treasures of so called Australia. I fell in love with water, the generosity of humans, and discovering places that made my Heart sing.

For the past 15 years I have continued to travel, working within the community development sector in Cambodia, South Africa, Naarm Melbourne, The Kimberley and The Surf Coast.

Living in different communities and landscapes provides me beautiful experiences of the varied colours and rhythms of life. I have come to know Art to be our softest and strongest tool for loving, peaceful change and a beautiful weaver of connection.

Art is a daily blessing. I cocreate in ongoing relationship with all around me. Drawing, poetry, song and dance allow space for true expression and childlike wonder and play.

Art also acts as my translator for deep and complex feelings and is a profound healer of pain, grief and trauma.

These pages hold in them creations birthed from expansive and subtle connections with places and people.

May they nourish and inspire you.

May you feel companioned to walk our Earth home with an open and curious Heart.

May you fall deeper and deeper in love.

Lizey is an artist and poet whose work resonates with the quiet depth of the natural world. Rooted in the spirit of deep ecology, her artistry reflects a deep reverence for the earth and the interconnectedness of all living things.

Through evocative, lyrical language and imagery, Lizey invites readers and viewers into moments of stillness—spaces where the boundary between self and nature softens. Her creative work is a form of self-inquiry, drawing from the well of reflection, presence, and awe. As such, it offers a quiet kind of wisdom, born not from certainty but from openness and attentiveness to life’s unfolding cycles.

Lizey’s presence, much like her work, is marked by gentleness, care, and an innate sense of wonder. She approaches the world with a listening heart—curious, kind, and ever attuned to the small miracles often overlooked.

Love Notes

I call Eliza ‘My Magic Girl’.

Her gift in feeling the full pulse of life’s wonders continues to inspire my own connection to all living things.

She invites me to notice, makes me aware, offers me perspective to meet the Sacred.

I’ve always appreciated her way with ink ~ be it a mix of lines forming shapes or weaving words, she takes me places and I’ve journeyed deep.

I love that her magic will now reach many more hearts. 💛
